Dear wanderers,
I don’t know where time slips. This year feels like having a life of its own, and I’m, somehow, the spectator.
As I’m writing these lines, Morcheeba whispers in my ears to slow down.
I don’t know about that :)
It’s autumn, and I’m excited to welcome our new wandering minds to this space!
And to share with all of you another long list of thought-provoking content — you told me it’s what inspires you most. I’ll do my best to meet those expectations.
Let’s get to it:
On product
Lenny Ratchisky’s podcast is a goldmine. My top 3 insights:
Marty Cagan talks about feature teams (teams that are feature factories without a clear vision) versus product teams (teams that scrutinize the product, the problem it solves, and what’s the next logical step, as per research).
Elena Verna makes growth more palpable and sheds light on how you can actually mix and match go-to-market strategies: layering sales-led and product-led, for instance.
Julie Zhuo nails giving feedback sequentially, depending on the development stage and types of stakeholders in the room — and when to involve who.
This list is for anyone wanting to learn product management. It’s overwhelming yet deeply satisfying.
A course that shows how to fully integrate your product into every team and transform the customer experience. They call this framework “the product-led organization,” and I’m already inspired by the first module.
On marketing
Tired of the mix-up between strategy and tactics? Superpath, the best community for content marketing out there, just published its full content strategy. And it’s a great template to use. (of course, it’s in Notion)
Goals. Audience. Creative. Channels. It’s framework time!
Funny, but true: Why it’s such a waste to oppose PR and marketing in a fluid environment — when shared strategies and tactics is the way to go.
On music
It will be pretty random but bare with me. My latest musical obsessions:
On (popular) culture
This will probably be a love/hate kind of deal. For me, it was so Asian that it was good — interesting to see a foreign director adapting Korean/Japanese fighting tropes without too much intervention.
How many times have you iterated on the same creation? Maybe you need some inspiration from Monet.
For my k-drama aficionados, you must see The Alchemy of Souls. Apart from your usual pop formulaic scenes, this is a story of resilience, grit, and self-trust.
Tiny Thought
I’ve been fascinated by the number of newsletters including this section, so I decided to do my own ;)
What’s your real impact in a context? (inspired by dr. Fio’s exercise)
